Is your project about English? Writing? Geography? Philosophy? History? German? Political Science? Whatever it is, your instructor is the subject expert.

She or he also understands the assignment better than anyone else. She knows what tools you may need, how much time it will take you to complete the assignment, and how the assignment will be graded.

Before beginning any project, make sure you competely understand what you are being asked to do.
