What needs to be Acknowledged?
Plagiarism is an ethical issue, but it can also become a legal issue if you infringe on someone's copyright (their right to ownership of information). Throughout your academic years and career, you can avoid plagiarizing by understanding what it is and how to avoid it.
In order to avoid plagiarizing you need to give credit to information that you learned from other sources. There are a few kinds of information that you don't need to acknowledge; and some kinds that you may need to acknowledge. To use information ethically you need to understand the differences.
