The Library Catalog

A Database Filled with Library Stuff

The library catalog is a big database. A database is a collection of records. Each record represents an item in the library.

As you can imagine, there are probably tens of thousands of records in your library's catalog.

Library catalogs may look a little different from one library to another, but the database underneath works pretty much the same from one library to another.Next >>
