IRIS 42: Information and Research Instruction Suite for two-year colleges

Summary

The list shows a summary of the evaluation criteriaThe Six Criteria

Here's a review of the six "W" criteria:

A: Authority

S: Sources

P: Purpose

E: Evenness

C: Coverage

T: Timeliness

For some kinds of sources, finding information about the source might not be difficult. Much of the information might be right on the item itself. For other types of sources extra sleuthing might be required.

The next module will apply the six criteria to books and articles.
