A quick review
This module just skimmed the surface of all the different types of search tools available for locating quality sites on the Web. Here's a review:
- No search engine searches everything on the Web.
- Search engines add Web sites to their databases using programs called bots or spiders.
- Learn to search smarter by learning the search features of search tools.
- Subject directories have smaller databases, but the Web sites have been hand selected by real people.
- You still have to evaluate every web sites you plan to use, regardless of how you found it.
