Determining objectivity and bias can be difficult on web sites, since many web sites are not upfront about these areas. The factcheck.org site demonstrates good practice. Scan the articles to see that candidates and issues receive equal coverage. Also, in their mission statement, FactCheck states that the organization accepts no funding. Why does that matter? Accepting funds from outside sources can lead to bias. All of this evidence points to credibility as an objective organization.
