Just follow the rules

We only looked at a book as an example, but a style guide will show you how to collect information and format just about every type of information source you will use, including:

• book with editor(s)
• sources with more than one author
• signed chapter in a book
• article in a scholarly journal
• article in popular magazine
• article from an encyclopedia
• articles from online databases
• web sites
• email
• personal interviews
• government documents
• ... and much more.
